Applicant: Conservation and Water Stewardship

Funding: $1,623

Assessment of fish communities in Dauphin Lake with goal of better species and age class representation with less mortality while increasing geographic habitat type of coverage of lake.

  • Stamp Competition

    The winning artist of the 27th annual Fisheries Enhancement Stamp Competition is Justyne Biy with her artwork of the Tiger Trout titled “Duelling Tigers.”

    Deadline date for submission of entry form for the next stamp competition will be announced shortly; the deadline date for submission of artwork will be announced shortly. Subject matter for the 2019/2020 competition will be limited to artwork of Freshwater Drum.

    For those artists planning ahead, subject matter for the 2020/2021 competition will be limited to Arctic Char; subject matter for the 2021/2022 competition will be limited to Channel Catfish.
