#15-021: Assessment of the aerated stocked trout lakes in the Parkland region
Applicant: Conservation and Water Stewardship – Wildlife and Fisheries Branch
Funding: $6,420

To assess the aerated stocked trout fisheries of East and West Goose Lakes, Spear, Pybus, Patterson and Tokaryk Lakes in the Parkland region of Manitoba and to remove other captured fish which will then be restocked into other waterbodies.

  • Stamp Competition

    The winning artist of the 28th annual Fisheries Enhancement Stamp Competition is Tom Jones with his artwork of the Freshwater Drum titled “Lake-Bottom Drummer.” An image of the artwork will be posted shortly.

    Subject matter has been selected for 2021 and 2022 competitions and is limited to artwork depicting the following species: Arctic Char (2021) and Channel Catfish (2022). Deadline date for submission of entry form is the first Friday in July of the competitions respective year; the deadline date for submission of artwork is the first Friday in August of the competitions respective year.
