  • Stamp Competition

    The winning artist of the 27th annual Fisheries Enhancement Stamp Competition is Justyne Biy with her artwork of the Tiger Trout titled “Duelling Tigers.”

    Deadline date for submission of entry form for the next stamp competition will be announced shortly; the deadline date for submission of artwork will be announced shortly. Subject matter for the 2019/2020 competition will be limited to artwork of Freshwater Drum.

    For those artists planning ahead, subject matter for the 2020/2021 competition will be limited to Arctic Char; subject matter for the 2021/2022 competition will be limited to Channel Catfish.

    Applications for Fish and Wildlife Enhancement Initiatives are accepted according to deadline dates set by the FWEF subcommittees.

    The Fish Enhancement Fund has already committed more than $2,500,000 to fund Fish Enhancement Initiatives to date. This is in addition to providing $850,000 annually to operate the Whiteshell Hatchery. Read More >
