  • Manitoba Fisheries Enhancement Stamp 2021 - Timbre pour la mise en valeur de la peche au manitoba

    Stamp Competition

    The winning artist of the 29th annual Fisheries Enhancement Stamp Competition was Al Dutcheshen with his artwork of the Arctic Chart titled “Arctic Char.”

    30th Annual Fisheries Enhancement Stamp Competition: Subject matter for the 2022 competition year is limited to artwork depicting the Channel Catfish. The deadline date for entry form submissions is July 2, 2021, and the deadline date for artwork submissions is August 6, 2021.

    Applications for Fish and Wildlife Enhancement Initiatives are accepted according to deadline dates set by the FWEF subcommittees.

    Win a Manitoba Fisheries Enhancement Limited Edition Print!

    Voting is now closed.  The competition received 20 entries from Manitoba artists on this year’s subject matter – Arctic Char. The winning artwork, runners-up and People’s Choice Award will be announced later this year.

    Funded Initiatives

    Since 2014-2015, the Fish and Wildlife Enhancement Fund has awarded over $3.8 million to fish enhancement projects and over $1.4 million to wildlife enhancement projects.
